Why we got puffy.
Our motivation to create Puffs! was simple; we knew edibles could taste far better than the current options on the market. Too many edibles sacrifice flavor for the sake of mass production and taste way too strongly of THC oil. We believed we could do much more with Puffs!.
After spending months developing recipes, we started experimenting with freeze-drying. That’s when we knew we were onto something special. The flavors were stronger, the texture was fascinating and the crunch was so loudly unique. Our simple little candies were transformed into a multi-sensory experience.
Real Ingredients
A big reason Puffs! taste so good is our use of real ingredients. Our Cold Brew Coffee Puffs! are made with cold brew coffee brewed in-house, freshly ground dark coffee beans and real cream. All of the fruit concentrates we use are certified organic, and we never use any waxes or added preservatives that are used in so many candies these days. While we don’t want to sacrifice flavor strictly for the sake of being natural, we fully recognize that quality ingredients are essential to a quality product like Puffs!
Signature Recipes
As longtime candy enthusiasts, we realize that candy in general isn’t as flavorful as it used to be. Gummies taste blander and waxier. Sour candy isn’t nearly as sour anymore. Different flavors taste way too similar to each other. We set out to change these candy injustices by creating recipes that are extra tasty, unique and specifically designed to be enhanced by freeze drying.
Most Delta-9 edibles are created by the same few manufacturers with the same recipes. The only difference between them is the branding and the packaging. And all the freeze dried candy we could find was just candy you could buy on the shelf at any convenience store that was dumped into a freeze-dryer without any thought. That just isn’t how we do things at Head Snacks. We create our candy from scratch and never outsource any of our processes.
The Crunch
We are extremely proud of the taste and effects of Puffs!, but the crunch is what really sets them apart from other edibles. How many other edibles can you hear from 3 rooms away? Puffs! also melt in your mouth almost immediately after you crunch into them for a truly one-of-a-kind edible adventure.
